Genetics aside, the followings play an important role in maintaining a healthy and youthful you:
1. Sleep– Try to get 8 hours quality sleep at night. If you are a light sleeper, try to use an eye mask and ear plugs to reduce distractions.
2. Eat well– Eat more fish and fruits, fibers & vegetables or try going vegetarian every so often. Limit processed food. Don’t be afraid of good fats. Eggs are your friends (soft boiled eggs).
3. Poop– Drink enough water, exercise and take enough fibers daily to increase elimination of waste products.
4. Exercise– Cardio and strength training help to maintain a healthy and youthful you. fast–paced walking is also helpful.
5. Doctor– If something does not feel right, check it out. Seeing a doctor gives a chance to fix or prevent something that could hurt you in the long run.
6. Stress– Constantly work towards managing your stress. Yoga, Meditation, taking a day off, or cutting a parasitic/negative person out of your life will help to manage your stress level.
7. Kindness– Try to be as kind as possible to those around you. Have empathy and compassion towards the less fortunate ones.
8. Sunscreen– Sunscreen on your face at least and moisturize every time you shower. Drink water!
